Synopsis:
Onya and Tease have been in this pit for a long time. Or a short time. A time.
The world up there is strange – and frankly not something they concern themselves with.
They find solace in their meaningfully meaningless nicknacks and the knowing that one day they’ll find the thing that saves them.
A childhood stocking filler is discovered. Reality threatens to crack their sanctuary and they are forced to resuscitate, purge, and kill all that haunts them, as many times as it takes to be free.
Knit Your Own Boyfriend is a new play supported by Arts Council England, straddling absurdity, comedy and tragedy.
These are work-in-progress performances from Slime and Pies.
All performances will be creatively captioned.
